The iconic silhouette of the adidas Stan Smith lends itself to ADIDAS ALL STAR SHOES an unlimited amount of versatility and interchangeability. That said, the brand with the three stripes is back at it again with this "Warped Grid" pack, a women's exclusive that features a textured leather upper in the pattern of an altered grid detailing with suede heel tabs for accent. One of the two options closely achieves the original Stan look, although the shade of green is lighter than the marquee Fairway Green that's been part of the shoe's identity. The KITH x adidas Ultra Boost Mid "Aspen" will release at global adidas Consortium accounts on Saturday, December 31st. After a successful launch on Thursday night exclusively at KITH, the Ultra Boost inspired by Aspen's ski culture will release again at the aforementioned Consortium retailers such as ADIDAS SUPERSTAR 2 Solebox as well as on the Frenzy app at 9 AM EST. Again, only adidas Consortium retailers, the Frenzy app, No.42 Paris, and No.74 Berlin. The ADIDAS SUPERSTAR 80S KITH x NAKED x adidas Consortium NMD CS2 features a minimalist contemporary aesthetic that simplifies things when compared to the first installment. The sock-like silhouette ditches any signs of a traditional lacing system for a slip-on fit while an updated premium leather stripe cuts down the middle of the model featuring reflective silver three stripe branding. The full-length Boost midsole unit also ditches the bumpers from the previous model for an updated design. Two colorways will be available in both men's and women's sizes ranging from a Pink Melange Primeknit and a Sandstone option, each featuring co-branded heel tabs in leather to match the updates stripes ADIDAS SUPERSTAR BLACK AND GOLD on the upper.
The Kobe 2's unfavored design would prove to be the catalyst for the end of Bryant's relationship with adidas, as he split ties with the Three Stripes after the 01-02 season. But not before The Kobe 3 made it to the sample stage, with another similarly futuristic design. Kobe didn't quite see eye-to-eye with adidas and the direction his shoes were going, and opted to buy-out his contract with the brand. Kobe's run with the Three Stripes may have ended on a sour note, but that makes his time with the brand no less important to his own sneaker history, or that of the adidas basketball program as we know it today.The kolor adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged, on the other hand, is a bit more traditional in appearance thanks to a combination of light grey and blue throughout the Primeknit slip-on upper. A Silver Medal' heel cage should inspire those who miss out on the above Ultra Boost to go after this pair. This is the second Ultra Boost Uncaged collaboration from Kolor, ADIDAS ORIGINALS SUPERSTAR WOMEN and should rank a bit aheadof their past orange creation based on the simplicity of this two-color option.
The Lakers up-and-coming superstar seems to be the right fit for adidas Hoops. The brand is currently riding on a "Create for the culture" slogan, and Lonzo Ball is without question a "creator" on the basketball court as his passing ability is living up to the hype. He could join James Harden and Damian Lillard to round out a solid trio of signature stars as Derrick Rose's career continues to fade.
